Flood insurance?

Hi everybody new here,

So I just bought a rental property in cash that is located in a 100 year flood plain zone. Is it worth it to get the insurance? From calculations, it appears that it will at least take 1500 away from my yearly NOI.

The house was bought for 10k below market price and is 4/3 near a university.

There can be an opportunity to lower that. I have a whole post about it.
