Virtual Property Assistant Business
Hello All!
I've been working in the property management business for years starting out as a leasing agent in the multifamily industry than eventually moving into accounting for single-family homes and now working in accounting for an HOA. Ultimately, I'd like to own and manage my own multifamily units however....it seems like I can't do this without money lol. So, through research I came up with the idea to offer virtual property management services for example (rental postings, lease generation, work orders follow-up, deposit accounting and so on) but it looks like most states require a broker for these services. I'd be willing to get my RE license and even a Property Manager Permit (which is needed for NV) but is it true that I'd absolutely need to have a broker's license to even get this venture started? If so, is it common to partner with a broker just for the purpose of running this business?? Any help would be great....thanks :-)
