Auction a room for rent between two interested potential tenants?

I am in the process of renting out one of the rooms in the unit that I live in.  I currently have two qualified tenants coming by to take a look this evening.  They both need places to live tomorrow (first of October).  Can I use this to my advantage and perhaps get more than the $600 I listed the room for?

Sure, especially since you're picking between two tenants "who need a place tomorrow" and are still looking today.  They're going to make Great room mates.
