Landlords/ladies,

I learned there is a newTX  house bill 1510 that says "cause of action does not accrue against a landlord solely for leasing a dwelling to a tenant, based on evidence thatthe tenant has been convicted of, or arrested or placed on deferred adjudication for, an offense."

It goes into effect 9/1/15 in Texas. How does this HB change your policy of renting to felons? Attorneys on the site, please give us your take.
