Police Report for Vandalism
I have hopefully a common situation that is easy to answer. I have a tenant that claims their car was vandalized in the shared drive way. I saw the car in the garage and noticed that the damage is inconsistent with his statement. He advised he was filing a police report which goes on our rental record with the city. The sticky part of the situation is we live in the other half of our rental property. How do I deal with this situation as I do not want this report on my rental record?
