Pets and security deposit

I am currently renting out my townhouse. My tenants lease ended yesterday and they moved out. As part of the lease they were not to have pets in the house. We discovered they broke this part of the lease when we noticed dog poop on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. We are going to have a cleaning company come into clean all the carpets. Should I deduct this cost from their security deposit.
