Had a tenant move out last week and seems like they got me.  They've been good renters for 3 years and when they moved, I guess they just felt like I owed them a favor.  They blew my phone up over the past few weeks to sign their landlord verification for their new place, but now I can't get them on the phone and I threw that paper away( dumb me) Oh well.  Should I go after them in court or what?

If this was your property don't let them get away with it. Filing a criminal theft complaint is free. Let the police handle it.
