Homeowner's Insurance
Hello newbie landlord here. I have a rental property in which the homeowner's insurance policy is costing me four times more than if it was owner occupied. Is this just par for the course or is there a way around this such as claiming it is owner occupied even tough it's a rental and in that case will the Insurance carrier honor any claim that may occur. Thanks in advance for any advice.
