I am 24 years old and have owned 2 homes already but sold the one and live in other. I am looking for feedback and knowledge about starting out as a landlord and the steps to take. I live in a small town of Clyde, Ohio. Friday morning i am going to look at a triplex listed at 85,000 and the gross income is 1250. Two 2/1's and one 1/1. I think this would be a good starter and hopefully grown and buy more. If possible please leave information rather this would be a good buy or not i would like to get it a little cheaper right around 75,000. The taxes are about 1300 a year. Also i would like to know rather to put 20% down or more, and would it be good to do 15 year loan or 30? Any tips and information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
