On site manager vs outsourced? Where do you fall?
I'm currently buying my first multi family unit. A small apartment complex of eight units. Right now it has been poorly managed and is only half occupied. I live in the area and am going to be hands on with the whole thing whether I outsource our use an onsite manager for at least a year until I stabilize the property. I have several outsourced managers available with good credentials and also a good person that has managed in the past and could live onsite. What are your thoughts?
