CRAZY-Almost Unbelievable-Creepy-And True

Spent the last few days in GRI 1. Yesterday, we spent a few hours going over the NAR Code of Ethics. One scenario, which was a true case, was presented.

An owner advertised a 2 bedroom house for rent. An agent brought a tenant. Agreement was signed. When the tenants went to take occupancy, they found out there was a THIRD bedroom WITH the landlord staying in that bedroom. None of this was mentioned in the ad. The agent was not notified and didn't find out until the tenants went to take possession. Result of the complaint for violation of the Code of Ethics? DENIED! They ruled against the ccmplainants and in favor of the agent.  The entire class was shocked...as I am sure were the tenants~!

How would you feel if you rented a 3 bedroom house, went to take possession, and found a 4th bedroom with the landlord living there. I am not sure what I would do!
