Where to buy affordable but decent quality cabinet

I have some 4-plexes that needs to get cabinet replaced. My property manager used to go to Home Depot and buy the un-painted cabinet and stain them. They don't look very nice that way. I wonder if there is any off-the-shelf affordable ones out there.

If you have any experience or ideas, please let me know! Thank you!

We used an online cabinet company that does white glove delivery, there are several of them but most don't do white glove.  There is also almost always a cabinet company posted on craigslist that imports them from China and will have a limited line in your area.   If you have time you can find display units on sale due to cabinet company liquidations. For these you just reconfigure and sometimes if you don't need to reconfigure you can use the countertop too.  Just keep searching craigslist and habitat is a good source as well.  We got a display unit that will do 3 kitchens.  Several times we have found displays that worked for us.  No time or an oddly configured kitchen look at the online companies. I like plywood cabinets though, we don't do pressboard.
