Is this lease idea terrible?
It is early December and we closed on two new rentals. To avoid the vacancy associated with attempting to fill a vacancy in the winter months would signing a lease for 13 or 14 months be a terrible idea? If the tenant is okay with it would there be any reasons why you would advise for or against this thought process? Down side is we wouldn't be able to raise the rent till then.
