Dog breed restrictions

Hi All, 

I'm putting my townhouse up for rental. I'm open to allowing pets. Is it generally a good idea to have restrictions on certain dog breeds? How does that play out with landlord insurance policies? The HOA itself doesn't have any restrictions.

@Clay Smith Do not use that website as any valid source of information. That site is set on feeding the myth that all Pits are killers. Do not--I repeat--do not suggest that website as a valid source of information. It's skewed and bias and plain awful. The site at one point--if not still--even supported the myth of "locking jaws". Please.

Anyway, Statefarm insurance covers all dogs, I believe. But just accept whatever your insurance covers and do that. There's tons of threads on this topic.
