To rent or not to rent...

that is my question. :crazed:

and if so, what type of residential properties offer the best overall experience? Lower, middle, upper class rentals? Single homes or doubles? Section 8? Use management or self manage?

Does having an inventory of rentals allow for a fairly stress free life? How about a reasonable amount of free time?

I know there's potentially huge profits in renting, but how often do you run across renters who make you regret not being a rehabber?

Any good books would also be appreciated. THANKS! for the guidance...
