Is it acceptable to do any rehab during tenants final 30 days?

I have a tenant who has given a 30 day notice and the property is not in rent ready condition. How do you feel about bringing In a cleaning crew to help with showings or even replacing carpet before the end of the tenants last 30 days ? 

The goal is I re rent it asap and due to its condition I can not.
