getting a yearly lease

My tenants started with a year lease but since have asked for a 6 month lease.  They are decent renters but I would prefer a yearly lease.  I feel they are just shopping the market for a better deal which doesn't seem to be out there.  Do I ask for the yearly lease or put up with their 6 month renewal?
