Pest issue after 6 months..who's fault
Hi
I have a rental house where different parts of house start to have electrical wire disappearing issue. It continue deteriorating as months go by. First it was the kitchen which looses electricity then the bedroom and the list go on.... I have sent few electricians check it out and each claims there was no wires connected to that area. Once rewired then it becomes ok for few months. However the wires start disappearing after few months. I start suspecting some pest like rodent or raccoon to do the mess. Planning to get a pest control inspection to get it fixed for good.
If found out that pest is the issue, who would bear the cost of repairs and getting rid of pest? Landlord or tenant?
There was no issues for first 3 months. I am in Texas.

@Kevin Harrison Hi Kevin,
Thanks for reminding about this issue. I went ahead and called a pest control services which does monthly services. from then on, i don't see anymore issues. I have to pay for it but its just so much easier to close rather than getting calls from your tenant.
