Lease Contract. How many people can I name as tenants in the contract? Is there a limit as to how many people can sign as tenants?

Unless the house is very big how many tenants do you really want? I have had up to four sign on a lease in illnois. The more people there are the more traffic through the apartment the more damage to walls floor etc....I love leasing to people who have small familes i.e. mom dad one kid elderly couples etc....just some food for thought.
