How do your tenants overstep thier property use?

You know what I mean you say I am going to allow bike storage and they come back with a motorcycle.

The best one though was this week I was having the MF drive improved. I discuss with everyone and tell them where to park (SF and MF). I get a text from the driveway guy there is a car blocking the path to the place where he is supposed to dump the dirt and he can't start. Ok so I find out it is the SF renter and get them to move it. They were supposed to park right next to their house where they had lots of space whereas the apartments were tight on space. Guy is delayed a day and then it rains and he can't work. So it takes a little longer and SF is annoyed by the noise. I restrain myself from saying it is your fault.

Next I get a text from SF renter on a property with a 3/4 acre yard mind you -that the dump truck guy drove on her garden. Ok so I think what is he doing over there and we contact him and he says... I am right where you told me to be to the left of that big stone wall. So I ask her where is the garden and she says by where the car was parked. Oh on the left side of the big stone wall I told you was the boundary or your yard....huge yard and she put her garden on the MF side....

And I discussed the property boundaries with them and have them in the lease.....

wondering what tales the rest of you have to tell about overstepping tenants.

I had an issue with our "free" basement storage and laundry... We did not set limits on the amount of storage and so the whole basement now seems like a dumping zone.  I am pretty sure its being used for storage for other people (theater school props, etc).  They once offered up the basement for furniture storage for a charity drive... and also used the washing machine to wash about 20 loads of clothing they were going to donate. No one else could do laundry that weekend because they were using them nonstop.   Our next lease will have a lot more rules regarding use of the basement and laundry.
