HOW MANY OF YOU LIST YOUR RENT PRICE IN YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS?

I am slightly frustrated when I see 6 or 8 adds of For Rent and not a single one has the rent price. When I do rent I always list my price to weed out those who cannot afford it. I list damage deposit, pet or no pet, and nonsmoking, number of bedrooms and baths, etc. What do all of you do and why?

    Sounds like you are getting a lot of consistent feedback to include any and all information. We do.

    A few reasons why you may not list the address or price -

    If you are concerned that the vacant unit will become a crime target.

    If you want people to call so you can talk to more people and feel out the market or tenant pool.

    If you aren't solid on what rent is or want a chance to explain price variations like utilities included or pet rates, etc.

    Overall it seems like you would get more and more targeted contacts with more data. If I was shopping I'm sure I would skip over the less detailed listings unless I was desperate enough to explore all avenues.
