Energy Audit, Wooster OH

We recently bought a duplex in Wooster, OH. Only one electric meter and we’re getting quotes to have it split. In the meantime, electric bills have been excessive since we purchased it (>$550/months ago). An electrician has tried to find the issue without success. Would an energy audit be useful? What other troubleshooting steps would you take? We use a property management company and do not live in the area. Thanks n advance for your thoughts.
