Coin operated washer/dryer

Hey BP I’m upgrading the washer and dryer in my duplex and debating on whether or not I should install coin operated ones. I’m not sure if doing this I will lose leads on new tenants and increase vacancy. Wondering if any of y’all have any insight or experiences that would help my decision? I also pay for the water so the added income would help offset the bill, thanks in advance!

I think it depends on your area and is that common or out of context?

Could you instead do ones that require a card or app to do laundry? much better and more tolerated than the old coin ones

Thanks Kim, If I were to install them I would go with the card/app ones but thinking it over I feel as if I would be trying to squeeze to much from my tenants, just going to go with updated an updated washer and dryer and not charge them.

How much would you actually make over what you are doing now?  What about charging another $25 a month in rent?
