Looking for a reliable contractor in Detroit area

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking advice on coordinating a rental for a property I recently purchased in the 48602 area. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 1,300 square foot home currently undergoing a full renovation (interior). I'm weighing the options between renting to a Section 8 tenant or a traditional renter.

My goal is to rent the property for $1,100 to $1,200 per month. I'm wondering if Section 8 is the right path for me. Can anyone explain the process for renting to Section 8 tenants in Saginaw? What are the necessary steps, and how long does it typically take? Additionally, is it feasible to manage this without a property manager?

Thanks in advance for your help!
