Timeline for Writ of Possession in Broward County, FL?
I have a tenant being evicted. The process has gone smoothly so far, re: the paperwork, the default judgment, and the Writ of Possession being docketed and "picked up" by the deputy.
The sheriff's office told me today it could take up to 10 business days to serve the tenant the 24 hour notice. Does anyone have experience in this county as to how long it actually takes once the writ is filed and in the deputy's possession? Thanks!
