NJ tenant security question
I’m managing a rental property for an out of state landlord. I need to open a tenant security account. The bank is not making it easy. Can the account be opened with a property manager name and tenant? Instead of landlord and tenant? A security account needs to be in NJ but if the landlord is not also in NJ, how does that happen?

If you are going to manage for someone else, it's important to understand the laws and ensure you abide by them. I suspect you're having problems because you don't know what you're doing. Here's the New Jersey law regarding security deposits:
