In dire need of help finding an apartment

Hello, before I give my story, my wife and I are looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment we have a monthly budget of 1750, we both have poor credit, 

my wife Ariana, Graduated from Brown University last year, she will be 48 in May this year and is currently an Operations Manager II at kent hospital through Sodexo, she makes 75k a year, and approximately 4500 after taxes a month, she has no criminal history, as to our poor credit, we had to choose between paying our rent and electricity during covid, or pay our credit cards, we have never missed a rent payment, and have lived in the same residence for the last 4 years with no issues, we are looking for an apartment because our landlord wants to renovate his building. with that said...

I am writing to proactively disclose information that may appear on a background check.

In 2009, I was involved in an incident that resulted in a felony charge. During a social encounter, I unknowingly interacted with an individual who misrepresented their age. I take full responsibility for this lapse in judgment and the legal consequences that followed.

Following my release in 2017, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to positive change. I actively pursued personal growth by enrolling in college and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University (January 2025). I am also currently engaged in therapy.

In a separate incident in 2016, I encountered a technical violation of my parole. I had received approval from my parole officer for a residential move, but there was a misunderstanding regarding the reporting timeline for my arrival at the new address. This resulted in a brief arrest. I have learned from this experience and ensured clear communication for any future changes.

Despite these past mistakes, I have maintained a stable and productive life. I am currently employed at Starbucks and recently married (January 2024). My educational background in Criminal Justice highlights my understanding of responsible behavior and community living. I am confident that I would be a respectful and reliable tenant.
