My tenant showed up at eviction hearing with entire church congregation - 75 plus members. Her defense was she could no longer work and earn money because God had chosen her to do unpaid church work only. When the judge told her she had 5 days to get out of the apartment, the congregation started speaking in tongues - I later was told they were putting a voodoo curse on the judge.
