How to sent to the collection for non payment of rent?
I posted last time also about my tenant who was not paying rent and asking if I could send it to the collection agency. I asked her to vacant my house before I file for eviction. She emptied my house with an outstanding rent of roughly 5k. I don't live in Texas, but I went last month to check my property and found some of her mail where there were other outstanding bills and even an arrest warrant ( for not paying tickets I guess). So, I see a very slim chance of getting my money back.
How can I get that money back?
I want to send it to the collection agency if that's possible. I tried to look for it and contacted a few but didn't get any response back. I would appreciate it if I could get any suggestions.
Thank you all for your help.

You will never get your money back, just accept this and move on.
Your options are: 1) Get a Small Claims judgement and record it so that it follows the tenant around. Sometimes they will contact you to rid of the Judgement. 2) Give it to a collection agency like you said.
Either way, you are unlikely to ever see a dime. Move on, it's only $5k. And next time hire a Property Manager....
