Umbrella policy and Rental house in Trust in DE

We have a rental property in Delaware which is in a trust. I contacted our insurance company to ask about an umbrella policy however he said you cannot get an umbrella policy if the house is in a trust. He contacted the underwriter and said we could get an "Excess Comprehensive Personal Liability" plan, which I guess is similar to an umbrella policy. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or if this is something specific to this insurance company.
