Turn around time for Tenant Screening Company

Our prior tenant screening company provided us a report within an hour or so.

Our new tenant screening company touts same day results in their advertising, their auto-generated reply indicates 8 to 10 hours, and it is taking close to that to get our reports. I am considering leaving this new company due to the time delay, even though I like the price and results.

Am I out of line with expecting to get a screening report back in a few hours?

Financial credit checks can be quicker, but if you are getting a nationwide criminal search it does not surprise me. It can easily take more than a day. I would be happier with a company who does a thorough job for a good price, than a company that is quicker, more expensive and doesn't cover as much.
