Purchase a fourplex in FL with month-to-month tenants: can I tell them to leave?

Hello!

We are purchasing a fourplex in FL with month-to-month tenants currently in. Their rent is way under market value, and the units are in horrible conditions and need to be renovated (new kitchen, new paint mostly). As a new owner/landlord, I'd like to understand my rights when it comes to asking them to leave, in order to do the proper renovations. We will improve each unit, and rent them afterwards following market value rent. Any insights is welcome.
