general question

Okay - my problem tenant (that I inherited with the property) is at it again. She was doing really well.....no complaints for a whole two weeks! Thought we had turned a corner. The other day she called to let us know there was some bubbling and softness in one of her walls. A good reason to call. So - we had a contractor come out and investigate and we found a major problem. Thanked her for letting us know and the contractor got started working right away. Unfortunately, the whole thing started on a end of week - so he worked all day Friday, and then had to wrap up for the weekend. He had to make a hole in the wall to get at the pipe that had broken, and sealed it the best he could. But it is winter. We get a big long text from her late Friday night that she is freezing and she can't stay in her apartment....yada yada. I call the contractor and he said he explained everything to her, and she said she was fine while he was there. He told her he would be back early Monday morning to finish the work (the man now has to tear out the whole wall and reinsulate - it is a big issue!). So we told her we were sorry, but that we talked to him and it is what it is for the weekend. The small whole is in her dining room. She didn't respond, until this morning. We get a huge angry text from her that the contractors came at 8:30 and it was to early, and she didn't want them there, and she sent them away and told them to come back at 10!!! Unreal. I told her they explained to her when they would be back and she said 8:30 wasn't reasonable, and she didn't think it was right that they could just "show up". I tell ya. I am just wound up because I don't understand this tenant. She was complaining about it being cold, and here they are ready to do a FULL day of work so that by this evening she had a new insulated wall with new pipes and new window....and she sent them away. I just needed to vent because she drives me crazy. ALL the time.
