Tax credits and home improvement Funds NYSERDA

Hello all, 

I am looking for information in regards to tax credits from NYSERDA. I am also looking for information about tax credits, government programs, and grants in general. I did some research on the .gov website but couldn't find definite answers. I would like to replace hot water tank or even possibly go tankless. My biggest goal is to reduce the cost and find a program that may help pay for the repair. This information could also apply to my furnace as that is old as well. Thank you!
