Avail forcing my tenant to video chat with a notary??
Hi all - new to the game, but ambitious to learn. Recently bought a triplex, set up avail for tenants as an upgrade from picking up checks in a box. First avail has our LLC do a video chat with a notary to verify our identity - ok, sure, seems a little extra but fine. Then today they go through the same process with my inherited tenant?? Seems way over the top, I told him not to worry about it and we'll find a better solution. Has this happened to anyone else? What are you guys using? Thinking about RentRedi but don't want to fall into a similar pitfall.
