Good day folks,

Pretty new to the rental property world, lots of challenges so far but I'm learning as I go.  Unfortunately my tenant has a non authorized occupant in the unit. She did mentioned that she will be gone for a week and wanted someone  to take care of the place will she was gone, which I much appreciated for her to let me Know. Now that a couple of months has passed and the non authorized occupant is still there every day. The tenant did approach me about the situation and wanted to know if it was ok for the non authorized occupant to stay.

My question is can I charge the non authorized occupant a monthly fee and all parties sign a separate addendum of the lease agreement outlining the changes.

Thanks

Robert
