Sober Living Rentals in CA?
Hi!
My husband and I are interested in renting out a home to a local Sober Living company in CA. We would not be managing it, just renting it out. Does anyone have experience with that in CA when it comes to taxes, insurance, etc?
Also, do these companies typically furnish the home and pay all utilities?
We already have contacts that we will be connecting with for further local information, but would love to hear of others successes. We think it could be a great strategy but also a wonderful way to help out the community as I know its a huge need!
Thanks in advance!

@Lindsey Tyler Usually these places make bank and should pay higher than market rent. There is typically more wear and tear on the property than with a family. Find out who is responsible for basic maintenance. Some of these companies have maintenance people. Make sure they keep sufficient liability insurance as well as you doing so as well. See if they will have to get any local approvals from the town to move into the neighborhood. This may vary by the town.
I work in the industry. This is all I can think of now
