Section 8- Eviction- Houston Laws
Hi,
I have a bad tenant who was behind the rental payment for paying her share of rent while on being on section 8 with Houston Housing Authority. Also the tenant is in violation of not paying full security deposit and not carrying renters insurance.
What are the laws on eviction process for Section8 tenant in Houston, Harris County. I am hearing it is 30 days notice or 3 day notice? Also the violation consist of renters insurance and security deposit along with partial unpaid rent. So technically can we accept monthly section 8 rent while processing the eviction?
