Apartment parking spot

Josiah Robles
Posted

Hello, I'm 17 and currently living with my mom in an apartment.  The apartment has a parking lot with letters and numbers in the parking space that match the apartments (ex. For apartment 1D there's a parking space 1D and for apartment 4D there's a parking space 4D)  the office that's running our apartment isn't giving me access to a parking spot even tho I live there.  Is that legal for them to do?  Do I have the right to the parking spot that's assigned to the apartment I live in?

Quote from @Josiah Robles:

What does the lease say? They should have told you if a parking spot came with the apartment. Maybe your mom said she didn't have a car, so they gave the space to someone else? Start by reading the lease. If that doesn't answer the question, have your mom talk to the manager to see why they won't let you use the space.
