If PM accepts Section 8, do landlords need to take classes?

Our PM company just notified us that they have applicants that they're ready to approve and that they'll be using section 8 vouchers. Our property is not a section 8 property so we're diving into research about this now. It appears that Columbus (CMHA) requires section 8 New Landlord classes and the process is pretty involved.

Do we need to take this class if there is a PM acting on our behalf?

How do we ensure our PM company is fit to go through the Section 8 process efficiently and accurately?

Thanks.
