Mass Save Heat Pump Rebate for Multifamily Property

Alberto Diaz
Posted

Does anyone know if each unit in a multifamily property is eligible for Mass Save's whole-home $10,000 rebate? I own a two-family house and live in one of the units. I'm interested in installing a heat pump to cool and heat only the unit I live in. Mass Save does not specify if a single unit would be considered a whole home when applying for the whole-home rebate. Both units are metered separately and currently have electric baseboard heating.
