Doing my monthly drive by and found an RV
Did my monthly drive by on my rentals today , I see one of my always late renters has a ugly RV behind the house (not tagged) , first everything is suppose to be in the driveway not on the lawn . I go and take a closer look and there is a sewer pipe going into the septic tank , a water line connected to the hose , and an electric cord thru the window . I bang on the door of both the RV and the house , nobody is home . I AM PI$$ED , I grab a black magic marker and write directly on both doors of the house , not on paper . The RV must be gone by 6 pm or as per the lease it will be towed and the tenant will pay . ( I can re paint the door ) I also called his voice mail . He calls me at 5 pm and says he cant do it for a week .his buddy needed a place to live and he is at work . I not too politely told him BS , I will be there with a large tow truck at 6 o clock and it will be removed as per the lease . Towing will be $500 and storage is $50 per day
I show up with the tow truck , the "buddy " is all pissed off cussing at me saying he paid my tenant $ 200. for the month to stay there , sorry chief heres a copy of the lease . The tow truck takes it away . The tenant then says I guess you want me to leave , I asked " are you giving me 30 day notice ? YES he says . Anticipating this I gave him a 30 day notice to sign , the driver witnessed it and I even went in to take pictures of the house . Funny part is the truck driver now wants to rent it because of the school district .
