Dead trees in neighbors yard
Last year, my neighbors pine trees were hit by lightning and the trees died. The neighbors made no effort to trim or cut down trees. Last week we had a storm, the dead trees broke off at top and damaged my property. I've fixed the damage. I know the neighbors are rarely home and I've sent a certified letter asking for them to take care of these trees before another damage occurs. Anything else I can do? These trees are certainly a danger now.

Quote from @Trace Jones:
You can report them to the city. They will send a code enforcement officer to investigate and they can put pressure on the neighbor to clean it up.
Talk to your insurance company. They may cover hte costs and then pursue compensation through the neighbor's insurance provider.
