Inheriting an Eviction
I'm under contract on a property with a tenant currently being evicted. The seller has assured me he can continue with the eviction even after the closing but I'm a little nervous. I don't know much about the law surrounding this but can he continue with an eviction even if he no longer owns the property? Should I be concerned?

@Jared Mackert If he no longer owns the property he cannot continue the eviction and you as new owner will have to start over. Don't close till the tenant is gone if you do not want to do the eviction. If you do have to do the eviction hire a lawyer from a local Landlord Association. All the best!
