Section 8 Tenants

Anybody have any experience with section 8 tenants in Columbus? My unit was listed for rent for over a month and the only interest we have had is a qualified section 8 tenant. I know typically the idea is to stay away from section 8, but it's the only interest we have had and I don't want my property sitting vacant for much longer.

I like my section 8 tenants. If they pass a credit report and background check you should go with them. Maybe sure you call the last two landlords and verify they were solid tenants. Make sure you start the call with "Hi, I am looking for some rentals" If they have no clue what you are talking about they are probably lying.
