Options after 1 year lease
Happy new year.
I have a tenant who is 4 months into his 12 month lease. What are my options for when he arrives at 12 months. I am in NH.
I could resign a new 12 month lease.
Go month to month.
The lease stipulates that after 12 months it goes m2m.
The deal here is I would like to remove this tenant. I understand that a paying tenant is better than no tenant, but I can do better than this tenant and I would like to. My screening was not good enough.
Can I give him a 30 day notice to vacate at month 11 of his 12 month lease? Giving him 30 day notice.
Thank you for your advice.
