Zoning Issues - Commercial/Residential mix

Weston Homa
Posted

Hey all! I am currently reading up on my local zoning rules and regs and have not found anything to tell me different yet but a property I am looking at is a unique situation so I am looking for feedback. So this all in one deal would be one SFR (commercial zoning), one Duplex (Residential zoning), and two separate stand alone garages (commercial zoning). I would potential be renting all these out separately. My question is, is it possible that I could run into an issue renting the SFR on a property that is commercially zoned? I am going to keep reading/ doing my due diligence but I have not seen anything that would have me steer clear. Feedback from anyone that has some experience on this would be much appreciated.
