Foundation inspection according to lifetime warranty

Hey guys!

We purchased a house with lifetime transferrable foundation warranty. The Property management company recommended setting up an inspection since they noted a problem, and the earliest foundation warranty department could arive was 45 days out! The appointment was set up on Nov 4 for Dec 19 (tomorrow). I just followed up with PM and learnt the inspector tried to enter the home earlier in the month (he communicated with PM, without my knowledge), however tenant's dog did not let him in. Foundation company offered to reschedule for Jan 10th.

Now, for all of you that dealt with foundation repair companies, is this normal to be waiting over 2 months to get the house inspected to fulfill the warranty? It seems there's lots of fingerpointing why the inspector can't come in on Dec 19th as scheduled in the 1st place.

Thanks!
