Hi.

Any one has a problem receiving the rent from DHA with no increase?

I have the voucher and it's been approved.

They keep saying not processed yet.

I spouse to receive new amounts starting February 1st

@Alex Moazeni - Every Section 8 office may work a little differently. Here is what I have experienced with my local office.

- During tenant turns or rental contract increases, they can be slow starting payment or increasing the payment. That said, once they do input the changes in the system, they have always caught up any past due rents/increases with the first rental distribution. Typically they have everything corrected inside of 60 days and then they payments come accurately and on time until the next change to their contract.

- Annual increases have not ever been automated with our office. We usually sign one year leases, and then renegotiate the rent every year. It takes more work, but if we didn't take this approach then we would not get any annual adjustment.
