Where do I calculate landlord insurance?

Hello all.

I am still learning about the procedures of rental properties. When watching the videos to analyze deals using the BiggerPockets calculator, property insurance is used. But what about landlord insurance? Do I need to get landlord insurance when renting my house to tenants? If so, where does this cost get allocated in the analysis?

Thanks for your input and advice.

    @Raushanah Glinton

    you just need landlord insurance.

    call a broker and ask for a quote.  it will likely be for a year.  divide by 12 and add that number to your monthly expenses.
